Ask your guest(s) likes or dislikes
Allergies, vegetarian, lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant… Find out any dietary requirements in advance before you book a restaurant. If you can't get this information, make sure you book a restaurant that has a varied menu.
Invite in advance
Arrange any business meals at least a week in advance. If there are any drop-offs make sure you contact the restaurant to warn them.
Tell your guests what’s on the agenda
Make it clear what the objectives of the meal is for. This will allow your guests to prepare and bring any relevant materials.
Send a google invite
Make sure it arrives in their calendar so that they don’t double book!
Reconfirm with your guest
Call, text or email on the morning of the meal. If you have scheduled a breakfast make sure you call the day before.
Make sure the host arrives earlier than the guest
If you are booking for someone else, make sure that your manager arrives 5 minutes before the guest so that they can great them upon arrival.
